How do I know if I need neurosurgery?

Your primary care doctor, neurologist or other provider may refer you to consult with one of our neurosurgeons. They will review your medical history, order necessary scans, imaging or lab work. Then, they will work with you to plan the best course of treatment, tailored to your condition, needs and goals.

How do I prepare for neurosurgery?

Your neurosurgeon will talk with you before scheduling your procedure or surgery to ensure all imaging and lab work is completed. They will then explain how to prepare for the procedure you are having and answer all the questions you have about what to expect before, during and following treatment.
