Cancer treatments we offer
The team of oncologists dedicated to your case may recommend one or more types of cancer treatments. We offer the latest in research-backed treatment options, including robotic surgery, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. Depending on your needs, your care plan may include:
- Chemotherapy uses medicine to destroy cancer cells or to stop them from spreading.
- Clinical trials offer our patients access to emerging treatment options sooner than at most other cancer centers.
- Hormone therapy uses medication to prevent hormones (like estrogen or testosterone) from helping breast cancer or prostate cancer cells grow. If you have undergone surgery for thyroid cancer, your doctor may use hormone therapy to restore your hormone levels.
- Immunotherapy supercharges your body’s immune system to prevent cancer cells from growing or spreading. We offer the following types of immunotherapies:
- CAR T-cell therapy
- Bone marrow transplant
- Cellular therapies
- Stem cell transplant
- Radiation therapy delivers high-energy beams to destroy cancer cells, while protecting nearby healthy tissue.
- Regional perfusion cancer therapy delivers chemotherapy drugs directly to tumors. Your doctor may suggest this therapy for cancer that has spread to the liver from other areas of the body.
- Surgery removes cancer cells and tumors. Our fellowship-trained surgeons are highly skilled and highly experienced in performing intricate procedures safely and effectively, focused on minimizing the impact to surrounding healthy tissue.
- Targeted therapy uses drugs to attack features (targets) of certain cancers. Doctors test tumor tissue or blood to determine if these targets are present.
